Costume styles evolved to practical to ornamental. Many accessories are used to decorate their shoulders, pockets, seams, and openings of clothing, as well as belts, hair ornaments, and necklaces. Based on a Sung Dynasty design and the Hunan Province style, all of their clothing are pure red, blue, and green. These traditional colors and styles are the start of today's fashion in China. China's Family Structure
Family has been considered to be the most important thing for Chinese society. The grandparents are the ones that respected and the children are the ones that the family is mainly focused about. In the countryside, couples can try for a son if the first-born is a daughter. The one-child policy has made a huge effect on the relationship between parents and children. The one-child policy has brought down the birth rate from 26 percent to 8 percent a year. The nuclear family is quickly becoming what people think of as the norm. All the cousins, grandparents, aunts and uncles, mostly get together during the Chinese Spring Festival. The first generation of offspring born under the one-child policy still have aunts and uncles and cousins, but many of their children won't.
